Wheat Allergy Symptoms: The Kryptonite Factor

I am all “geeked up” about the upcoming summer movie season. Have you seen the movies coming out? This summer Xmen, Captain America, Thor, and Green Lantern will be exploding onto movie screens everywhere! This season looks as if it will be way better than Summer 2010 because between you and I, 2010 sucked big time! I thought Ironman 2 was cool but it seemed to be missing something, don’t ya think? In my opinion, the summer 2011 movie season kicks off May 6th when Thor finally arrives in theaters. I saw the trailers for it late last year and had it “penciled” in on my calendar since then! I get a little excited about these movies because I was a comic book fan when I was younger so if you see more exclamation marks than normal you now know why!!!!!
I am so glad they’re making these movies when they have the right technology and special effects. At least it’s believable now, and it doesn’t look like those old Godzilla movies where you know there’s a man in a monster suit walking over cardboard buildings on a movie set. TG for technology is all I can say!
Renal Acidosis: Importance of an Alkaline Body
By · CommentsA couple of weeks ago I had the joy of attending a water party. I know you’re saying, “What the heck is a water party?” I was saying the same thing as I reluctantly accepted the host’s invite. I could have kicked myself for accepting it because every day I kept getting flashbacks of network marketing meetings gone bad. You know the ones I’m talking about, right? Those meetings where you’re herded into a room like cattle and some guy pulls at your heart strings then gets you all “pumped up” and motivated to sell your neighbors, friends, and strangers “pimped out” butter knives. I ain’t gonna lie I’ve fallen for it a couple of times in my pursuit of having a couple of extra dollars to fund my dreams. We’re all human right?
It just so happens the water party turned out to be something I really needed to experience to expand my health repertoire. I am so glad I followed my intuition and kept my promise of attending. The party was not only enjoyable but it proved to be quite informative as I learned about Kangen water and the importance of having an alkaline body.

I started my fitness journey after my mother died in 2005. I remember it like it was yesterday because she passed away the day after Thanksgiving. The reason why I remember it so well was because my mother was the organizer of the family. She told everyone what to cook and what time we would eat and made sure the dinner ran smoothly. I’m sure I wasn’t the only one who felt unorganized on Thanksgiving day with her not being there. I looked around at my other family members and something just wasn’t right. I could only think to myself, “My mother is in the hospital and she’s not doing well.” The day after a day which was supposed to be filled with gratitude I couldn’t seem to be thankful for anything because my mother was taken away from me. I’ve always been one of those people who believe things happen for a reason and now that I look back on it, I firmly believe my mother’s dying wasn’t in vain.
Do you pass blood gas?
By · CommentsI know the title sounds like a bad True Blood episode but trust me, it isn’t. Since you’ve been reading my blog for a while I consider you to be a homie, pal, or whatever you “wanna” call it. Homies can be real with each other, right? So, from one homie to another I’m going to ask you, “ Do you fart?” I know right off some men are gonna say, “Yes!” but the women are going to shy away from that question and rightfully so. I wonder what would happen if women started dropping bombs like us guys do and laugh about it? Hmmm… I don’t want to find out so ladies keep the silent but deadly’s because I know you pass gas…it’s human. But have you ever wondered why gas happens and where it comes from?

Go With Your Gut
By · CommentsWhat’s up? Did you have a teacher like me in grade school who would spring pop quizzes on you right after the tardy bell rang? I learned to hate the word pop quiz! It would be a 5 question multiple choice test which meant you could only miss one question and pass. I came out on the short end of the stick a couple of times on quizzes because I would second guess myself and go with another answer. When I second guessed myself, it would always be wrong. How did I know it was wrong? I would ask around the class once we passed the test in to the teacher just to see what the consensus was on the quiz. I never asked any of the dumb people in my class, I always sticked to asking the smart kids. I found out early on the dumb ones would have you second, third and fourth guessing yourself…not a good feeling! I came to one conclusion about second guessing myself and it was this: whenever you don’t go with your gut chances are it’s always wrong. It wasn’t until later on, after taking tests like the SAT where I learned to “go with my gut” and stick with my first answer. It wasn’t until later when I learned to go with my gut for health purposes too.
